U.S. Postal Service Launches Free E-waste Recycling Program

From Earth 911:

The United States Postal Service and Clover Technologies have partnered to provide free postage for consumers recycling small electronic devices.
Customers can pick up envelopes in the lobby of 1,500 Post Offices. Clover will pay the postage on these items in hopes they can be refurbished. If not, the components will be recycled.
Items that can be recycled include:
• Inkjet cartridges
• PDAs
• Blackberries
• Digital cameras
• iPods
• MP3 players

One of the solutions I’ve found that help tackle e-waste and keep existing, outdated PCs going is to go with a company called Userful. They’re huge on green computing and can use a single existing PC to power up to ten workstations at once. This is a huge way to help combat e-waste and bring outdated PCs back to life. You can find out more on this here – http://www.userful.com.
